Slavic Christian Academy is a member of Association of Christian School International (ACSI), approved by Washington & Oregon Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI & ODE), and granted the provisional accreditation by the Northwest Accreditation Commission (NWAC).

 

As a provisionally accredited school, SCA enjoys all rights and responsibilities of being regionally and internationally recognized as an online private Christian school. The Northwest Accreditation Commission is acknowledged by the United States Department of Education.

Slavic Christian Academy in Portland is a K-10th school located in Clackamas, Oregon and hosted by Spring Mountain Bible Church. Small class sizes, excellent teaching staff, and a Biblical teaching core, make this school fertile soil for your child's development.  All teachers are believers who have been called to the ministry of teaching young people. They have been carefully selected based on their professional qualifications, experience, and devotion to Christ, allowing us to offer a quality Christian education.

 

We offer a great Kindergarten program twice a week. Russian is taught as the second language in our school by a professional Russian language and literature instructor. We rent a local gym for our PE classes and students receive quality PE training with a professional field and track athlete. Music is a major part of our school's curriculum. We have a school's choir and orchestra. Students are provided with a healthy hot lunch every day.

 

A traditional approach to learning is combined with other teaching techniques to assure development and mastery of necessary skills. Reading, language arts, math, science, and social studies are emphasized. Bible is not only taught as a subject but is also integrated throughout the entire curriculum. Additional enhancements and opportunities (such as private piano instruction on-site), drama classes, Chapel led by students are also available.
