Why Choose Slavic Christian Academy? Print

Our teachers are well-trained Christian teachers who love the Lord and their students.

Every subject taught at SCA is integrated with the truths and Christian values. Prayer is an important part of every student’s school day.

Our students are taught to seek forgiveness for sin, accept Jesus Christ as their Savior, take personal initiative to study God’s Word and make it their primary objective to love, serve and honor Jesus Christ.

Rigorous educational instruction is presented at a level that students can succeed at with reasonable effort. The core subjects are taught in English: Bible, Math, Language Arts, History, and Science.  In addition, our students have an opportunity to learn Russian Language from an early age up to high school.  Music, Art, and Drama are part of the daily education in our school as well.

Our students are trained and required to participate in competitions provided by ACSI and with other Slavic Christian Academy campuses during our Olympics that is hosted by Northwest Association of Slavic Baptist Churches.

Reasoning, critical thinking skills and internalization of Christian values are important educational goals. Our students take Stanford Achievement test every year, thus allowing students, parents, and teachers to evaluate student’s progress and achievements.

Parent and teacher conferences are held twice a year but parents are always welcome to visit at anytime.  We are committed in working with parents and students to resolve any difficulties.

Class sizes are normally no larger than 16 students for primary grades. Intermediate, junior high and high school classes are no larger than 20 students.

Our goal is to experience excellence in every aspect. We look forward to you joining us in nurturing your child to become a representative of Jesus Christ.
